My characters have to suffer a lot. I like them rough at the edges. Of course, I want them to be happy but - like in real life - it's a stony path. Like John Lennon once said: life happens while you're busy making other plans. I like my characters multilayered. If you prefer stories like ... and they live happily ever after ... I'm definitely not your go-to author. That doesn't mean I'm absolutely against HEs. In my stories, there's, most of the time, a price to pay for being happy, or a sacrifice to make. Nothing's for free; nothing's granted. Sometimes, my muse takes a break from all the bitterness and decides to inspire me with lots of fun and laughter.
