hey everyone! i promise i didn’t forget about “things that shine”. i just ended the school year with my students and went through a breakup so it’s been a little hectic and i didn’t really feel like writing about romance for a little while. promise new chapters are coming soon though!

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I got on Wattpad, about six years if my math is right. Of course, that was on my old account. I took a long break from reading a writing and learned a lot about myself and about life, as I think most young adults do in their late teens and early twenties.
For the past few months I've been writing non-stop and this new story I'm posting has been my heart and soul. I love the characters and storyline, and I hope that you'll love them too. As a young, closeted, gay girl growing up in the Midwest, I wish that I had some representation when I was reading books in high school, longing for a romance book that I really loved.
"Call It What You Want To" discusses the growing pains of high school, living in a world that feels like it's just moving too fast sometimes, and most importantly: it's about learning to love and be loved.
I hope you all love reading it as much as I love writing it.
