Hello, I'm Jared Rigsby, and I unabashedly love genre.  The love affair began as far back as I can remember, growing up in the nineties with no shortage of B-rated monster movies to watch or Japanese RPG's to play.  These genres have always been the place I ran to when my brain needed food.  New ideas, dynamic settings, existential questions, I enjoyed these other realms because they forced me outside my own way of thinking.

Based out of Nashville, I've written for music and entertainment blogs for several years, often focusing on progressive artists and technology (and sometimes marketing, blah blah).  I enjoyed these projects but felt pulled toward my original passion.  So, bada bing bada boom, here I am.
