I don't think I gave my permission to this (obviously, as I haven't read your message until now), and I don't think not answering your request gives you permission to just do whatever you want. No, I don't want my story to be rewritten in a new version, and I now ask you to delete it. I really think it's great that I could inspire you, but I don't like a copy version of my story with nothing but some characters being exchanged. At least you could have been politely enough to mention my story as the original work and note yours as a rewrite, but you didn't. You said, you don't intend to plagiarize, but that's exactly what you're doing, and I am not willing to tolerate this. Your writing is pretty good, so why don't you write down your own ideas? Again: please delete "From The Ashes" and we're fine. Have a nice day!
