“ it’s ready , karen ! ” colin calls out , before walking into the living room with a plate of apple pie , it was one of his favorites to make . a specialty , even . a big scoop of vanilla ice cream resting on top . he places it on the table in front of karen , a happy smile on his face as he plops beside her , one of his cats immediately going to rest in his lap . “ i added a little more cinnamon this time . i think it’ll be a bit better ! ”

@TR0U3LE / The abrupt loud bang that echoed through the room made Karen jump a little , her heart thumping behind her ribcage just as harsh as when he had hit the table . The blonde folded her hands together in her lap , effectively concealing the light shakiness of her unsteady hands . Choosing her next words with caution , she took in a breath and lowered her voice a few levels before asking , “ What , you don’t like my questions … ? ” Her question erred more on the rhetorical side , anxious blue irises trained upon the unhinged man in front of her .
