I literally put down like 95% of the plot while I was supposed to be studying chem. All that’s left is to create a timeline of the events and the story and how everything will play out and when I tell you I’m resisting the urge as hard as I possibly can I mean it. Why do these ff plot ideas always come in the wrong time istggggg

@hyunspic it can be annoying trying to do stuff while your brain is plotting something totally different, like a whole plot to a new ff story... BUT having a creative brain like that is also a good thing, I know of many authors who are trying to come up with a new storyline to their new books and their brains are simply not cooperating
          	  
          	  being able to come up with something new so easily and so quickly is pretty cool

When your senior finals (aka the most important exams I will probably ever take) are in twenty smth days but your brain is too busy trying to plot another murder mystery. Istg they said get rid of distractions but what do I do when my own mind is the distraction??????

One thing that I feel like is setting me up for failure is this thing my dad always tells me to do and it’s to “always aim for the top and the best, because then when you aim for the best, you start doing your best”which is kinda true but also like- would it not break me if I get anything less than the best? Like if I raise my expectations way too high and then god forbid I don’t get the results I’m expecting, would it not basically ruin me? Idk, it was just a thought.
