I'm a writer, a wife and mom to six kids. I know, that's a lot of kids. I didn't know what I was getting into when I started having them. But since I love them to pieces, I guess I'm stuck with them.
So how did I decide to become a writer? I wasn't one of those people who always knew they wanted to be a writer. Looking back, it seems so clear to me that I should have known I would be. I simply loved using my imagination. I've used it all my life, much to the dismay of my parents and teachers (I was and still am a hopeless daydreamer). Any problem in life can be solved with an imagination, and magic, don't forget magic. Well, along with the stories in my head, I've also read a lot -like a bazillion books throughout my life. I decided on a whim to try my hand at writing. It only took me a day to get hooked. I'll admit, I wasn't very good at it at first. But after several years and thousands of hours writing and studying the craft of writing, I feel I'm getting the hang of it. Now I'm ready to unleash my inner imagination on the world. Bwahaha!
Oh sorry, that's my inner villain. He sometimes pops out when I least expect it. It can be pretty embarrassing.
I love writing about heroes and heroines and I'll admit, I also love a good villain. The stories I write are mostly fantasy, paranormal, and horror. And there will absolutely, always be romance entwined in my stories. I don't see much point in writing a book without it.
Now that you know something about me, I'd love to hear something about you. What do you like to read? And if you write, what do you like to write? And then let me know what you thought about my books. What did you like? What didn't you like? I really want to know. I do hope you enjoy them and I hope you love reading them as much as I loved writing them.
