if you have anxiety, and if your studying for your career at uni or are in highschool.... how do you deal with doing things out of your comfort-zone, like doing presentations, talking to people, doing things that make you severely anxious.

I have really bad anxiety and its not getting any better. I would like to be able to do things out of my comfort-zone and have new learning experiences but my anxiety controls me, its controlling all the things I wish I could do but am 2 anxious 2. I thought it might help me to hear some of your stories about your anxiety and things you have done that has helped.

so feel free to write a paragraph on here or message me privately about your anxiety story... how did it start, when did you notice it was getting worse, and how are you managing it?

I hope you all are doing well <33 I miss writing and talking to you all.

@godchimi A little late but I'm basically giving at least 6-7 presentations every semester as a part of my syllabus, and I'm an introvert. So yeah it's difficult thinking about all the what ifs and screw ups. Something that really helped me is realising that honestly, nobody cares. Other than the teacher, nobody is really even listening to you lol. And I know this because no matter how much I try, I zone out during other people giving the same presentations. So nobody is even listening. Just focussing on speaking clearly is your goal. Also, don't memorise your content, learn it as you would explain it to a friend. Much easier. The issue with memorising is if you forget even a single word, you'll fumble and lose confidence. If you explain it as if actually speaking, there's no need to memorise the content.

Hope this helps you and other people too!

@godchimi recently I'm also face the same issue. So, I contacted my friend who is practicing occupational therapy...she suggested me to visit a doctor and practice meditation and yoga...

The Talks We Have is a book in a series. It describes a blossoming friendship between an unexpected pair of university students. When this friendship is put under the lens of social media is up to them to decide what is going to happen next. Will they post their story or leave it in the drafts?

I am reading “Pretending to be You” , I was commenting then all of a sudden, I try to post a comment & it keeps saying “Comment failed to post” , it’s not like I am giving the story away because I have never read it before. I just make guesses at what I think might happen. Maybe I will try to inquire with wattpad office.

Hello dear writer, I want to ask something. Would you mind if I translate your book "Call me yours"? Can I share the Turkish translation on my account? If you allow me, I would like to translate it and share it.♡

Kookiewial

Would you accept it if I stated on the cover of the book, in the description of the book and at the end of all chapters that the original book belongs to you?:(

heyy does your book 'undercover officer' contain dark themes like yandere/gore/mental illness or anything like that by any chance??

godchimi

@vaimekook not hugely. throughout the book it mentions drugs but its pretty light considering what the book is about. I hope that makes sense <3
