Hey guys I have a few different updates in the works, but they probably won’t be out until the end of the month. I have 6500 words to write for uni and I’m only letting myself write fanfic as a reward at the moment (I doubt it will last I have terrible self discipline).

Hey guys, I’m going to be quite busy with uni in the next two months so full updates may be slow to come but I am active on tumblr and I will be posting unpublished excerpts and other general fic updates to there. 
          
          You can navigate the blog and find those excerpts and updates by searching for the story, for example #fic: young and beautiful or for the oc #oc: hope solo
          
          My tumblr and all other social media’s including ao3 are @galacticwildfire so feel free to send me asks on there. 
          
          I also have a Spotify with the same handle where I make playlist folders for fics with playlists dedicated to individual characters and different relationship pairings both platonic and romantic. 
          
          Those playlists can give a little hint as to where their story will be going, so if you come across Bucky and Ada’s for example and see the smallest man who ever lived just know in that case it would be more appropriately genderbent to the smallest woman who ever lived. So beware that some additions to those playlists may be genderbent. 
          
          Also let me know, would you guys prefer more frequent but smaller chapters (around 5-6k) or larger ones (around 8-12k) that take a little longer but ultimately have a lot more going on.

Hey guys an update for the storm queen is coming and I’ll try to get it to you by the end of the week. I’m not sure if I’ll finish the story in its entirety but the new season of hotd will give me some inspiration. If I do decide to discontinue the story I will do some sort of time jump to wrap it up but at the moment I am going ahead with it. 

Updates will come once the horrors have ceased (uni assignments) so expect them to roll in after next weekend, or before if I decide to procrastinate assignments with fanfic. It’s a 50/50 chance of either. 
          
          I’ve revisited an older Bucky Barnes fanfic, I hadn’t planned to have so much of the story set in the 40’s but I’ve decided to go back and structure it chronologically so it doesn’t bounce back and forth between the 1940’s and 2010’s.  I’m doing a history degree and when I looked back at what I’d written I realised how horribly inaccurate so many details were so I’ve rewritten that portion. No crazy rewrites, but just so it’s accurate to the time period and so the quality’s a better since most of it was written in 2021. 
          
          The story begins with a very confused oc waking up in 2013 and being reunited with Steve before it cuts back to when she met Bucky in November 1943. I’ve started it a little earlier so there’s a chapter of backstory covering 1941-1942 along with her meeting Peggy and Howard, then she briefly meets Bucky slightly earlier at Stark Expo. The story is pretty much the same from then onwards, it isn’t published atm because of rewrites but it covers the 1940’s and then there may just be a portion covering 1991, before proceeding onwards with the rest of the Captain America movies with Sam and Natasha as main characters.

So please follow me there if you're waiting on updates for fics in case anything happens to my account/fics here. 
          
          I'll continue publishing here but if any fics suddenly get deleted they should be published on ao3 (with the exception of my earlier stories although I will look at uploading those to ao3).  All my current fics are updated on ao3 at the same time as they are on here, and while I hope none of my fics are flagged I wouldn't be surprised if my game of thrones fics are removed, however my star wars ones should be safe. 
          
          I no longer publish full fics to my tumblr account (oc fics aren't popular there) but I often post excerpts of wips on there along with general updates on the progress of fics. I also have a tiktok, instagram and youtube where I edit, and a pinterest with character boards. Across all platforms my username is galacticwildfire so if anything happens to my account here I can be found across most of the popular platforms.
