            *  joey is quiet for a moment,  staring at him before a uttering a quiet  “fine”.    he disappears for a moment,  closing the window  (after pushing jack’s fingers away,  in a lapse of sudden kindness)  and draws the curtains shut.      after a few minutes,  he opens the window once more,  now fully dressed and with a backpack,  as if he had prepared for this.  *    okay,   ‘m  ready.    how  are  ya  gonna  sneak  me  out  though?
