Okay, I've been playing IDV for a long time. Like two years, I think? Anyways, I never mained doc, ok? I started out maining gardener, as she was pretty op. Hunters couldn't fix a rocket chair i think unless they carried something, and she had a counter at the bottom, but BESIDES THAT, she got nerfed where it's super fast to break the chairs and the hunters can fix them in like one sec, right? I stopped playing gardener after that, picked up acro and prosp, and that was the end of it until legit MONTHS ago, when I decided to pick her up again.
She got a buff before then, but she's not THAT different, I guess. Anyways, I learned how to kite and pull off literally the most insane rescues as gardener, and now I'm maining her again. Started playing her in rank not too long ago, so I don't have a badge yet, but I'm almost there, and just-
Whenever I play solo rank, people always tell me to "just go doc". "Don't play gardener. If that's all you can play, just go doc."
LIKE FIRST OF ALL, I CANNOT HEAL KITE, CAUSE I NEVER PLAY DOC??? I'm in elk jsyk, and if you play doc i rank (obviously with spec and not tide, as you always should as a doc main), and you can't heal kite? What are you doing? I excel at gardener, pull off great saves, bodyblocks, and kites (even though I mess up a lot), yet.... people still don't accept gardener in rank?
Like sure, if the team is that unbalanced that its painfully obvious we'll lose, I'll try to switch to help our chances, but people keep telling me not to play gardener in rank. She's honestly pretty balanced and a good character to main, but I mean I guess I can see why some people are scared? In lower ranks, when you see someone playing gardener, it's horrifying cause they probably have no idea what they're doing. (the amount of saves i see gardenrs try without bubbles, then getting terrorshocked omg like just wait for the bubble then save, it always works out better)...
