just had to edit and republish chapter 8 because somehow my mind managed to completely forget that christmas occurs in december and silly me wrote a time jump from the start of december to the 28th without even acknowledging christmas had occurred. i've changed it now. christmas has been restored. saint nicholas is thriving once more. sorry, thanks. i wonder if anyone else picked up on it haha.
