Ever since I was very young I have had a very active imagination - I loved thinking up stories, developing plots, twisting emotions and reality; it was how I would get away from the world.
As I grew older, my thoughts and stories took on a darker shade, and this is when I began writing them down. However, I've never actually written a long, chapter-ed story - only short ones depicting either one particular scene, or a collection of moments.
Wattpad is my initiative to broaden my horizons and try something new. I've been working on my writing style for many years now, and I feel like I can handle writing a novel length story. I realize that I sound quite blase about what I write, especially considering the subjects covered in my story, Emerald. I understand that what I'm writing is essentially taboo, and many would think that I have some serious mental issues - but Emerald is really a collection of the many dark stories I have written and even just thought about in the past couple of years, which is why it is so completely and utterly morbid.
It will be slow going with the story - I have many ideas, and not enough patience to put them all into writing, but Emerald will be finished, and I hope that by the time it is, it will be something shocking and truly memorable.
