I didn't set out to write a book.
I set out to survive a heartbreak.

2021. A breakup destroyed me.
The only things that pulled me 
through were sci-fi stories -
Inception, Tenet, Steins Gate.

Somewhere in that darkness 
a question formed:

What if someone could go back?
What if someone could rewrite 
the moment they lost the person 
they loved most?

I spent 4 years answering that.

Nobody in my family has ever 
done anything outside a 9 to 5.
Everyone told me to stop.

But I was more afraid of the loop -
wake up, job, home, eat, sleep, 
repeat forever -
than I was afraid of failing.

So on December 31st 2025 
I left my job and finished my book.

I am a civil engineer from Mumbai.
A classical tabla player.
A massive pop culture fan.

And I believe science fiction 
still does not have 
its defining story.

I am trying to write it.
