I have generally only written for academic purposes,up until recently, but have been drawn more and more toward writing as a creative outlet lately...it has been so satisfying to find this venue of self-expression. I love to read and I adore words. A more general description of me: Open listener to my trilogy of little wise-ones who teach me numerous lessons about life and myself each day; living in total awe and respect for all the families that invite me as my doula-self to bear witness as they birth; consciously walking as lightly as I can on this earth; on a quest to revision myself as slightly less of the crunchy-hippie-earth-goddess-mama stereotype that I am, but failing and that's ok too; intuitively living sensitive sprite who dreams of walking barefoot in grass and is endlessly thankful for the people she is sharing this life with.
