I had been writing for years, but never really tried to get my stories out into the world. Then I discovered NanoWriMo and finished my first ever novel.
I've written loads more since that long-ago day and become a real-life published author--something 13-year-old me would have been completely in awe of.
I live in Michigan, surrounded by people I love and loads of feathered and furry critters. It's a good life!

CURMUDGEON won the 2018 Watty Wildcard Award and has been published by Scarsdale Publishing as SOME MONSTERS NEVER DIE.
ALONE IN TOMBSTONE won the Southwest Airlines Storytellers On The Rise contest in April, 2021. It is being adapted by Tongal Productions for a 2023 release.
AT NINETEEN won Marriott's #SoloTravel contest.
THE MYSTERY OF NOVAK MANOR was an ambassador's pick in the 2019 Open Novella Contest.
THE MYSTERY OF THE LAKESHORE LTD won an honorable mention in the 2020 Open Novella Contest.
