A child sits with a football on his lap to watch the Premier League. He's jittery with excitement -- leaping to the edge of his seat and screaming with each new goal.

The more he watches, the more his foot itches. His toes wrap and unwrap themselves on the ball's cool skin -- he wishes so dearly for the field.

Slowly, in his mind's eye, the sofas become indistinguishable from goalposts, and as the match rolls into its roaring finale, he slams his foot into the ball.

It explodes off the wall, bounces off his chest, and lands back onto his feet as he finally juggles across the living room, shattering every possible vase, window, and sense of self-control.

That same child, now grown, reads books and poems on his laptop, taunted by the keyboard so close to his fingertips. With each verse, each chapter, his hands shake and itch till it's finally unbearable -- and he comes to Wattpad to let off a little steam.
