I combined chapters 1, 2, and 3 into a single chapter, essentially rewriting it. I also edited chapters 5 and 6, renaming them as 2 and 3, and added a few new scenes to enhance character interactions, as I felt there was a lack of depth in their relationships. For the next few days, I'll focus on editing the earlier chapters while I'm in the hospital due to mercury poisoning. ):

Sorry for this update, but I will be reworking the first few chapters. The story won’t change; I just don’t like the way they are written. I will probably add more scenes of family bonding and Aelora’s relationship with them. I plan to update Chapter 21 tomorrow, I think.

Hi, I've been following your story for a while, and I've loved it so far and even though you say Chapter 19 is a rough draft, it's still very good.
          
          If you agree, I have some ideas for the future, and a potential death of Bennard at the jaws of Ghidorah that is not unlike that of a certain woman in the movie. And speaking of which, Ghidorah didn't seem that bothered by the cold, given his size and body heat, even if the North wind is not really normal. And above all because I'm not sure anymore: Cregan is the same one we see talking to Jace in S2 EP 1, that you aged for the sake of the story or is he an oc?
          
          And I think that Aelora could also "claim" her late father's dragon: Dragoneater ("Mangedragon" in French) the Cannibal (as Balerion is known as "Black Dread"), whose name in High Valyrian would be "Zaldrīzes-hadan" (inspired by "shnar-handan" from Wenja word of Far Cry Primal for "man-eater/cannibal"). I'll explain later. But I have other ideas, which you could give me an answer to.
          
          In fact, in MonsierL.A's fanfiction, "The Dragon & The Wolf", when Rhaenyra's virtue is questioned (she didn't sleep with Ser Cole here), she brings in trustworthy septas (go read the story directly to understand), and ends up being confirmed as still a virgin. You could do the same thing here, Aelora asking the most pious septas of Winterfell, a young girl from a convent, and a prostitute in order to prove that her rumors are false. At the end, she would say that she doesn't have to answer to anyone, especially not to fools ready to believe the first rumor that comes along, but that those who will sit at the same table as her and her future husband deserve to know the truth before being abused by this nonsense, saying that she won't hold it against those who believed it, that she won't forgive those who started it and that they will be punished the when the time comes (giving Bennard a look so that subtle only he noticed it).
