My name is Dan McMahon, I'm a fantasy/YA author from New Hampshire, US.  I love reading all genres, especially fantasy, sci-fi, literary fiction, and YA fiction.  I'm currently working on my first YA fantasy book, 'The Shards of Edenfall'

Synopsis:
The land of Edenfall has been at peace for a thousand years, but forces of evil are once again re-awakening and threatening to infect it from within.  Kalen, and his sister Elle are thrust into the middle of an ancient war that the king of Meridian, the human capital of Edenfall, is desperate to cover up.  With the help of an elven pirate captain named Thalion, and a few unlikely companions, Kalen and Elle are launched on an adventure to discover the cosmic Shards of Edenfall.  Mystical objects containing unknown power that may be their only chance of defeating the malevolent Viar. 

When I'm not writing, I enjoy playing and watching soccer.  I also play drums,  I'm a big film and TV nerd, and I have two siberian huskies named Harley Quinn and Rey.
