I am watching The Longest Promise. Never in my life, have I seen a female lead as insufferable as this one. If it weren't for Xiao Zhan and an extraordinary storyline, I would have thrown this in the garbage long ago. Every actor has done a terrific job, even in the background. Very good graphics, and a well-made drama. If only she were a little different. I get it that she is portraying a frivolous spoiled brat, but she is overdoing it to unbearable levels

I knew the Wolverine kid. I just didn’t know he could sing like this. I haven’t read a word in 3 days. All I have done put him in loop and walk around doing my chores and curl up in a corner for the rest of the time. And watch my son work through 2d motion in physics? I was even dreaming of those songs. His genre is something I never used to take seriously, but then the lines are strangely reflective, haunting, reminds me a lot of things that never would come to be. They may sound lively and peppy but all I could hear is this profound sadness between the lines. What kind of songs did this kid cook up? Troye, god bless you sweetheart 

I just discovered Troye Sivan. I can't say what it is about this boy, but I couldn't stop listening to him. I can't believe he started his career almost a decade and a half ago and I took all this while to listen to him. I am beginning to think I live under a rock

I never truly appreciated how tall he is, my baobao is really tall. Poor me wouldn’t even come up to his chest . My baby makes me feel diminutive. I feel so proud seeing him interact with people outside the Tod’s event at MFW. He has walked through fire and ice and come a long way. I am so proud of him

          It’s a feel good story that should be easy to read. The most striking aspect is that there is no homo phobia except the fear the characters feel themselves. Problem was that I was so afraid something may go wrong that I read it back to front. I think after chapter 21. I feel stupid now though. We live in a world that is so terrifying that it’s almost impossible to imagine the world could be a good one, at least in a story. But honestly, it would be nice if the real world is like the town of Sinclair

          If you decide to drive from Alappuzha to Kottayam, you need to pass through that road that’s built in the middle of the lake and paddy fields. The water there is filled with hyacinths and water lilies. It’s in October that the hyacinths bloom. You wouldn’t know where the land ends and where the water begins. All you would see is a carpet of pink bordered with green. Nobody ever stops their car so that I can take a good look at it. All I ever had were fleeting glimpses. Still, I look forward to that trip every year, for my fleeting glimpse of pink.

          9 out of 10 times when I read WangXian fan fiction, I would be disappointed. We have a tendency to conveniently forget that Xian part of the whole thing is about a man who defied all odds, stood against the whole world all alone, and fought for what was right. Somehow we have a tendency to focus only on the part that he was the giver in their relationship. Of all the WangXian fan fictions I have read, the ones that have done justice to the magnificent character MXTX created can be counted in my hands. Then I read this book. Dear author, thank you for staying true and doing justice to Wei Wuxian. The plot is amazing. And they have also visited the complexities of two men’s relationship. But that doesn’t mean this is all serious, there are the right sprinkling of fun and laughter which makes it easier to read. I must say this one is definitely one among the top five favourites of my WangXian fan fictions
