Sometimes, the closure we want doesn't align to what we're expecting. It has been a great journey as a waanjai. Unexpected people came along, befriended and went thru a rollercoaster ride together. Defending the ship, kept on rowing to keep it afloat. But after all, just like what had happened to Titanic, it sank.
Several waanjais discovered and flourished their potential in writing because of MewGulf. The vastness of writer's imagination brought us tears, laughters, pain, heartaches, understanding, and numerous chances. But just like any other book, time will come it'll reach the last chapter, and eventually, it'll be closed for good. It will remain as a bittersweet memories though. Memories that we can only look back and might not be able to experience it again.
The sea has now gone quiet.
