World-building is, in my eyes, the best part of writing. Creating cultures, creatures, places, and religions that fuel and guide your story to the ending. Sometimes that ending isn't what you want, or what you'd expect, but it's the result of the previous actions and decisions your characters carry out. I think that's beautiful.
