Hello lovely readers!

My name is Bonnie & I have been writing novels from the age of 12 and would one day love to have 'published author' to my name.

I have two adorable puppies who tend to sleep at my feet while I write (that or wreak havoc wherever they can), and a man who leaves dirty dishes in my sink, but is happy to bring me cups of tea.

I adore reading every kind of novel. The most recent one I read that truely stunned me with plot line, was The Woman In The Window (A.J. Finn). It's like Girl On The Train (also a great and easy can't-put-down novel) but with more twists.

I am an easy romance reader (always delighted to sit down with Confessions of a Shopaholic), but also enjoy the more meaningful novels. The Light Between Oceans (M.L. Stedman) and All The Light We Cannot See (Anthony Doerr) were recommended to me by my mother, and let me tell you, she's good at choosing and they will make you cry until you can cry no longer. If you're into that.

I am currently working on When Wings Burn, which I wrote the first draft for about 6 years ago. I woke up in the middle of the night from a dream, and sketched an entire A2 page of notes, maps, images and descriptions. For that reason, the story's working title was The Nightmare.

I am a big believer of doing what makes you happy, and love reading the words of others. I care less about whether a storyline is corny and more about whether the author is delighted with their own work. Go you guys! What an achievement! There are so many of us here with the guts to actually post the creative pieces that are so precious to us.
High fives all round, people.

Clearly I have no 'release dates' or 'winning stats' or 'sequel coming soon announcements' to list here, but I hope this small blurb has given you a bit of insight into who the creator behind these words is.

Bon x
