I'm in a hyperfixation about two characters whom I invented - how is that possible, I DON'T KNOW. 
          
          BUT THE POINT IS THAT ALEX'S BPD MAKES HIM HAVE CONFIDENCE ISSUES SO WHEN MATEO PROPOSES TO HIM, EVEN ON HIS MEDS AND AFTER THERAPY, HE STILL HAS SELF CONSIOUS THOUGHTS ABOUT WHETHER HE IS ENOUGH OR NOT- 
          
          I've been researching bpd JUST TO HAVE FANTASIES ABOUT THESE BITCHES, AND NOW PHYSIOLOGY GO IS BEING RECOMMENDED TO ME AND I'M FALLING DOWN YET ANOTHER SPIRAL OF MENTAL ILLNESS INFORMATION. 
          
          did y'all know that people with bpd often do more reckless things because they are unable to regulate emotions and this can often lead to accidental relationships? did y'all also know the people with bpd have self-image issues, leading to many intrusive thoughts (iykyk). bpd often comes from multiple traumatic events as a child such as parent neglect and it pains me to make Alex have to have such a sad childhood AAAAA
          
          but bpd can be helped and maintained with therapy and mood stabilizers! so don't worry, Alex is ofc going to accept Mateo’s proposal and they are going to get married no matter what

@h1ghdeer ooh nice. Here's a random fact about BPD from a psychology obsessed nerd:
            - BPD is often comorbid with DID because of the fact that both are formed from repeated childhood trauma, it is more commonly diagnosed than DID too and some psychologists see it as more real, leading to higher diagnosis rates.
            - People who's parents have BPD are more likely to have BPD themselves because of brain chemistry stuff.
            
            (I went down the mental illness rabbit hole last year but for DID, PTSD and CPTSD lol)
