Amol Sahasrabudhe

Amol Sahasrabudhe has a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University in India. He also holds a Master's degree in computer science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master's in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.

In addition to his professional achievements, Sahasrabudhe has been actively involved in philanthropy and has supported several organizations. One of these organizations is the Women's Education Project, which aims to educate and empower young women from marginalized communities in India, helping them to build careers and become agents of change and valuable contributors to society. Through the Leadership Academies offered by this program, women form a supportive sisterhood that enables them to overcome social expectations and pressures and take control of their lives.

Amol has also supported Pratham USA, an organization founded in 1994 to address poverty in Mumbai's poorest neighborhoods. Pratham initially focused on remedial education for struggling primary school students. Still, it has since developed the Annual Status of Education Report, a tool that provides insights into education reform in India.

Another organization supported by Sahasrabudhe is the Akshaya Patra Foundation, based in Bengaluru. This nonprofit aims to eradicate hunger in India, particularly among children. Its mid-day meal program provides nutritious meals to over 2 million children in classrooms across India. In addition, the organization offers breakfast and meals for new and expectant mothers, homeless women, and children without families.
