Hey, I'm Angela.
I'm just a soon-to-be college kid studying engineering who writes here and there in my freetime.
I was captivated at a young age with the idea of writing my own book. From the time I completed and designed my first in-class hardcover in third grade, I was hooked. I can still go upstairs and find old drawers full of pages of ideas, outlines, books that are 7/8ths completed, and actual finished stories I have written. Granted, my style has changed a bit throughout my life (that first book was about young butterflies going on a dangerous adventure--think lava caves, stalactites, and lions--to learn a lesson about friendship), but I still find myself coming back to the genres of fantasy, action/adventure, and mystery. In high school, I began to experiment with adding a hint of sci-fi to the mix.
My problem is that, as a casual writer, I am struck with way more ideas than I have time to work with. Thus my room is covered in sticky notes with ideas and I have probably seven ongoing books right now (two from nearly five years ago).
My goal for myself is to be able to write more often and at least get the plot down for some of my ideas. To teach myself to write more and to write anywhere would be a liberation beyond words, especially given the amount of change next year will bring me.
I hope that you'll check out some of my stories and reach out to me if you want to talk about a book!
Thanks for reading!
Sincerely,
Ang
