Have you ever thought to yourself 'How better my life would have been if I was like her' or, 'How good life would be if I was him'? I am sure you must have. I have thought this, too. But then, one day, I decided to bring out the hidden talents in me. From writing short one-liners on the back of my notebook, I started to write poetries and long-stories. From painting tiny flowers on the small spaces of my drawing file, I started painting big pictures. From dancing from one spot to another spot of my house, I choreographed my dance on some songs. From being a nerd, I started calling myself a bookworm. I overcame all my little fears, one at a time. And then, next day, I thought again 'I wish I was her'. But then you know what happened? A voice from somewhere inside said, 'no, I don't want to be her. she doesn't paints like me. she doesn't writes like me. she doesn't even reads books. I would never have been able to paint or write or dance or read if I was her. no, I only want to be me.' And people, that day my world changed. My perspective changed. I loved myself- my flaws and my strength. I decided that there was no one who could give me the same combination of talents I have got. That day, everything changed.
You know what? Try a little to love yourself. Bring out the talents in you. Live a little for your own self. The day you succeed in this, your life will become perfect. For this one time, believe what I've told you. Try. You'll realise that the world has totally changed.
