I did a thing

Ya'll, what do you do when you feel a tremendous burnout from focusing on one single story, yet you know what to do with the story itself and how it's gonna end, just burning out when you're on the process of getting there.

Currently, I'm trying to create another new, shorter and lighter story in between of me writing and drawing for my other story, just to get me off from tunnel visioning then getting burnout. Is this a good or a bad idea?

I usually brainstorm new ideas, work on other fleshed-out ideas, or take a break from all writing entirely for a while.
Still, every person works differently. You’ll only know once you’ve tried different things out.

Y'all, is wattpad dying. Or is it because I really havent interacted with anyone here in a while?

Feels more like the later rather than the former. Having a similar situation happen as well.

Y'all, I'm thinking of shortening the earlier chapters of my book by breaking them apart to multiple chapters. I wanted to make my chapters feel episodic but then I realized how long 8000 words for wattpad is. (Also, more chapters = more counts to reads ;) )

So, if I do separate them, should I make them still their respective chapters? Like for example: Chapter 1-2, 1-3 1-4 etc. Or should I make them seperate chapters entirely? Lemme know what y'all think

Ppl complaining about your chapter length, too, huh?

I’d probably do the dashes like you said above. That way ppl know they’re meant to be from a single chapter— and how it would be read on any other medium than this one.
