Hey readers of @YuandKanon. Seeing how there are lots of Pokémon fans out there and enjoy Pokémon fanfics, I wanted to go and share, with the permission of @YuandKanon to share on his feeds, a Pokémon fanfic that I’m working so y’all can read it. SHARING MY EXPERIENCE WITH AN AUTHOR 
          
          I AM BREAKING MY POST IN PARTS CUZ IT IS REALLY LONG BUT REALLY IMPORTANT AND WATTPAD GIVES ONLY 2000 LETTERS WITH SPACE INCLUDED WHICH IS ACTUALLY NOT THAT BIG.
          
          Hi guys! I personally believe as a fellow writer that we should respect our readers. Our readers are what help us rise, and we shouldn’t take them for granted or insult them. And most definitely should NOT post their comments in form of chapters while insulting them, which also allows other readers to insult these readers whose comments have been posted. This is akin to harassment and bullying and can emotionally/mentally damage someone.
          
          I met an Author who had this wonderful book, but then they suddenly stopped posting, and wrote an A/N stating the reasons. Of course, nothing wrong with this. However, later some readers who loved the book persuaded them to continue/update the book. Sure, it may seem ignorant, since the Author had made an A/N, however it can simply be that many didn’t get notified/didn’t read it. Or they could be trying to encourage the author. The author requested in the A/N not to make this comment, but people may not know (Cuz Wattpad notification sucks or maybe they were trying to encourage as many a times we get encouraged when we don’t want to get, and that actually helps), and they made requests.
          
          Now it would have been OK, if the Author had PMd or Commented them back to not disturb them. But what the Author did was unforgivable in my opinion. They posted these request comments in form of another chapter and started shaming these commentors. Not only that, this also allowed other readers to call out to these poor readers who were just requesting story and calling them “beggars” and “jerks”. They are requesting story, not FORCING someone to write. And they still have their dignity. This is akin to public-shaming in my opinion.
