@Youre_My_Sanctuary I have been reading almost all fanfic stories for 2 years now. First I read the synopsis trying to find one that will grab my attention. Second, and actually foremost, I check to see if the story is completed. I have read WAY too many great stories that are not completed, even abandoned stories. Third, if I can find one with sincere positive reviews then I go for it. But nothing aggravates me more than to forget check to see if the story is completed. To read chapter after chapter of a fantastic story and then at the bottom of a page I see an orange rectangular box with the words ...
          	  "To Be Continued
Last updated:" and then read a date from months & months ago
I know shit happens and even authors have a life but when authors leave
a fantastic story and have not even bothered to return to Wattpad for months to type a quick note or review? I considered those abandoned stories. Writers block, loose interest in finishing the story, get pissed that people keep stealing their stories, suddenly decide to publish the entire story on Amazon, or they get married, have kids, the list goes on and on. Some of the stories are so darn good it makes me really want to take a bit of my time and write a reply asking them how could they just abandon such a great story? Remember, to me they are abandoning a story when they haven't even left a note or reply to their readers for months. I eventually found that Wattpad is not the only website to find fantastic free stories! However, Wattpad seems to have more abandoned stories than any other website.

@Guuuggs randomly
I mostly chose books with millions of reads so as to filter them but I've read some with just thousands of reads. I read the synopsis of course, I look at the hot lists, tags, recommendations, people's reading lists and place some in my library or reading lists. To find a good book I read like ten bad ones so it's not really easy to find a good one. Just need to be patient.

I wonder if the author would be okay with someone else continuing her stories? Because it's been a very long time, and I'm obviously hoping she's okay, and that she hasn't gone missing or died, but looking at the other comments on here and on her books, most people feel the same as me - upset and slightly disappointed. Maybe someone with her writing style or ideas could continue it, or write a different version, but with credits to the original author of course. That might never happen, but just a thought.

And to you author, I sincerely hope that you are doing well and if you are reading this I hope I have not offended you, but I remember reading your books for the first time and thinking it had a lot of potential. All the best ❤️

Hello all! This story sounded familiar, so I looked thru a few of my reading apps. Looks like the writer just moved platforms. I found this book under the name "The Female Alpha's Sanctuary" on Noveltells. I don't think it's plagiarized because it has "sanctuary" as the author, which is similar to his/her name here. Plus, there's usually no author written on the books that get plagiarized. It still says ongoing, but it's over 200 chapters so far. Shame it moved to a pay by chapter app. But it's there if you want to read it.

@_introverting such a horrible comment to make!
This is a free story written as a hobby by the author.
The author is not obligated to do anything!
I sincerely hope they are alright.
And even if they stopped writing because they just didn’t feel like continuing, that is up to them!
            They don’t owe us anything!

Yep, the book that's on Noveltells is just a broken up version of what is already written

@AngelaPerez469 someone actually did inform about it in the previous conversation on the message board and they said that it was not a continuation from wattpad. So, someone must have stole the book. And someone also said that author got the chance to make it paid on wattpad but she didn't do that. I think someone has stolen her book.

I come here a lot =O(
I really hope one day you decided to come back on Wattpad and see how much your story has flourished... Your writing is on another level and you're so young. Your story was one of the first story I've read in Wattpad and till this day I go back and read it even tho it's not finished n I still recommend it because it's worth the read.
          Again hope all is well
          You're very much missed
