WritingContests

Alright everybody, here are the scores! First off I want to thank you all for submitting your entries on time! 8/19 people submitted them so I would like to thank those 8 people.

People have been asking me what you win and in reality when you win a writing contest you either win money or some other sort of prize but with me you just win constructive criticism because I believe that's what improving your writing is really about. If you feel I didn't give you enough advice feel free to PM me and I can do it for you. If you feel I'm being too harsh well, I'm not, I'm just giving you advice.

          	So, here is the placement!

1st place: "This Letter's For You" by @OnetoMidnight with a score of 47/50 based on the song "Everything Has Changed" by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.

2nd place: "Two Thousand and Five" by @His_Zombie with a score of 46/50 based on the song "Drive By" by Train.

3rd place: "The Girl on the Bench" by @StephanieAlbright with a score of 42/50 based on the song "Arms" by Christina Perri.

4th place: "Overrated" by @TheSleepingInsomniac with a score of 40/50 based on the song "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga.

5th place: "Hell on Earth" by @skys_no_limit_ with a score of 32/50 based on the song "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson.

6th place: "Insane" by @_legendary with a score of 31/50 based on the song "Back to December" by Taylor Swift.

7th place: "When We Meet Again" by @EllaCarter with a score of 25/50 based on the song "Cowboy Casanova" by Carrie Underwood.

8th place: "Chainsaw" by @1SKYFALL3 with a score of 19/50 based on the song "Chainsaw" by The Band Perry.

Now, I did not base this on your writing or you writing style what so ever. I went by the criteria I had made because I believe improving your writing often starts at the grammar and the way you word things.

I'm going to be having another contest that actually digs deeper into the writing itself, join if you're interested!

          	Thanks,

          	Lena
