Hello All!

We have a new short story contest for you today. This contest is being held in conjunction with the @PoetsPub and their Biggest Competition Ever.

Suppose you have been put in charge of creating a time capsule that will be opened in 200 years and you need to put things in it that would represent what Peace on Earth looks like to us now. What would you put in it?

This contest will run the length of the Biggest Competition Ever so you have about 6 weeks to get your entries in. You can find all the details here:

Let There Be Peace on Earth

          https://youtu.be/-EsMZ1w6nrU

          Lyrics

Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me
Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be
          With God as our father
          Brothers all are we
Let me walk with my brother
          In perfect harmony

          Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now
          With every step I take
Let this be my solemn vow
          To take each moment
          And live each moment
          To take each moment
          And live each moment
          To take each moment
          And live each moment
          In peace eternally
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth
          And let it begin
          With me (me)
          With me

@WritersforPeace.. thank you for accept'n that. it's one of my favorite hymns and I think the Harlem Boys Choir does such a good job with it.
It always reminds me if the old joke bout the fella complain'n to God that He should send somebody down to fix things up... and God tells him he already did... and the fella asks who?... and God says you :)
I sent the last prompt to poetspub.... those were a whole lot of fun!

Good evening folks!

Let us share a beautiful thought with you, on this day, 15th of August, when India was freed from the clutches of British, in the year 1947-

An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind.

          -Mahatma Gandhi

Happy Independence Day to every fellow Indian! Let's take the tricolour to even greater heights.

          Jai Hind.

@WritersforPeace Happy Independence Day to you, Jai. : )
