I live in rural Ontario, Canada with my husband and we have eight children.

I write historical fiction and bring the Anabaptist story back to life. It is a fascinating subject, because of the severe persecution they were subjected to, but through faith, prayers and tears, they survived and eventually many of them moved out of Europe and settled in early America in the 1700s.
I also write award winning poetry on FanStory and I am working on a children's book. Besides writing, I like reading, drawing and working on jigsaw puzzles! Historical fiction is my favorite, of course, and Lauraine Snelling, Tracie Peterson, Terri Todd and Francine Rivers are among my favorite authors.
I am an experienced quilter, I sew clothes, and have a large vegetable garden, from which we live off in the summer, and preserve what we can't eat right away.
