OKAY get ready for me to be a lil preachy
I've been through some less than pleasant stuff regarding mental health.  I'm doing better now because I'm on a journey of self-love and I have awesome friends who make that easy.  
But a few years ago, if someone had just come up to me and said something like, "Hey, I like your shirt" or just a simple compliment, it would have made my day.  A few times, things like that saved my life.  
So just be nice, okay?  You don't know what people around you are going through.  You don't know the battles they face, the demons they wrestle every day.  Everyone around you can take something positive from your presence.  So make that positivity accessible.  
Being nice doesn't cost you anything, but it can give so much.
