So, I haven't been on this website in a while and I don't really have an excuse for it. I mean, I'm just finishing up school so I may be on here more often, but I doubt it. I think I've lost interest in this website and writing on it. Sometimes I log on and just check up on my followers and the people I follow to see how everyone's doing, but for the most part I don't come on here anymore. Today when I logged in I realized that I've been on this website for almost 3 years (since August of 2012) and I've written 5 (and a part of a 6th) stories. I read back on them sometimes and I notice how I've grown as a writer over the time and how amateur my writing is (not that that's a bad thing, I actually find my stories amusing). I'd like to write more formally, not exactly novel-like or even as a profession, so I can get more practice and I'm not just writing love-stories about band members I used to gawk over. If I continue writing on this website, it'll probably be a more serious story with more realistic events and plots. Anyway, I basically just wrote this to update anyone that cares or has been wondering where I've been for the past six months. I've been around.

The Steal My Girl video was amazing!

For anyone that cared enough to read the rant I just sent out, I just want you all to know that I ran out of characters (limit was 2000), but I wanted to continue it. 
          
          All really left to say is that the example I used (He Hits You) is only just one example. I see the preferences like I mentioned all the time. 
          
          "You're Pregnant and He Leaves You" 
          Harry, Louis, Niall, and Zayn leave, but Liam's doesn't even have a story.
          
          Because "Liam wouldn't do that".
          
          None of the boys would. That's why it's fiction.

I'm quite frustrated right now and have decided to make a rant about it (read if you want, don't if you don't):
          
          So, preferences. More specifically, One Direction preferences. We're all victims to being sucked into the world of One Direction, and that leads to reading preferences and imagines based off of them. I've read them, I've written them, and now, I've ranted about them.
          I have no problem with preferences in general, only how some people (many that I've seen) write them.
          
          Example: Preference- He Hits You.
          I've come across this preference many times, read ones of the sort many times, and enjoyed reading. Usually there's a part two where the girl goes back to whatever boy it was written about.
          
          In some cases, the girl never even gets hit.
          
          I've noticed that many preferences like this will have the details of how every boy in One Direction hit their girlfriend and they're monsters. Except Liam.
          
          It's as if people think that Liam is the only one in the band against hitting women.
          
          No. After three years (maybe less depending on whoever reads this) of learning everything we could about the boys and basically stalking them, some people still think that they're all assholes, excluding Liam.
          
          I know, I know. "It's just fiction, calm down" is what you must be thinking. But let's think about this.
          
          Five boys in a band we idolize.
          
          Five boys that wouldn't hurt a fly.
          
          Five boys that we write and read preferences and imagines about.
          
          Thus, if you write a preference meant for all five boys, it should have all five boys.
          
          Not four abusers and Liam.
          
          Harry: *beats the crap out of his girlfriend*
          Louis: *beats the crap out of his girlfriend*
          Niall: *beats the crap out of his girlfriend*
          Zayn: *beats the crap out of his girlfriend*
          Liam: "Oh Liam would never do that"
          
          We all know none of the guys would actually harm someone in reality. But for some reason, despite it being fiction, Liam still wouldn't.
          
          We can imagine the other boys hurting people but not Liam?
          
          That's stupid.

So "Your Bodyguard" just hit 100000 reads. I know that's not very impressive compared to other people and their stories, but I'm extremely happy about this. Thank you to everyone that's read, commented, and liked the chapters in my story. I enjoyed writing it very much and I thank you all for coming along on this journey with me (wow, that was cheesy). So I'm really stupid and decided to get sick last week (and I still sort-of am), and forgot that August 30th was my one year anniversary of being on Wattpad. I'm honestly surprised I've been on this long because I remember when I first signed up I thought I wouldn't go on the site at all. But look at where I am now. I go on on a daily basis, have so many stories I keep track of to read, write a bunch of my own stories, and have a bunch of fans that actually care to read what I write. I'm eternally grateful for all of you, because I most likely would've deleted my account my now if it weren't for you all. :) -WhenTheSunGoesDown xxxxxxx
