I wrote my first book (My Mysterious Double) at age 10 and my dreams of being an author were born. I studied journalism at Northwestern University and wrote at least five complete (unpublished) adult novels -- and one screenplay -- while working and being a mom. When I started reading the same books as my teenage kids, my passion shifted to Young Adult fiction. Now I tend to write about isolated teenagers who find a way to connect with others. They usually involve a bit of kissing.
It took me 38 years but my debut YA novel, Zenn Diagram, is now available in hardcover, paperback, ebook, and audio book from KCP Loft. Zenn Diagram is a love story about a girl who literally can't touch people without sensing their backstory ... until she meets Zenn.
