Please don't follow me if you plan on unfollowing after. It's just a shitty thing to do, and I'm really tired of finding out that people I thought were my friends were only following me so that I would follow back. I know this sounds like such a dramatic, borderline-ridiculous thing to be upset about, but with a screen between me and everyone else, it's hard to tell when something's for real and when it's not. 
          	
          	I recently unfollowed everyone on my following list so that I could go back through my follower list and make sure I wasn't following anyone who just wanted a higher number in their follower count (I followed everyone that was following me) so if you got a notif that I had just followed you and it seemed like we had been friends / following each other for a while, that's why, and I'm sorry if I caused any confusion. 
          	
          	I know I don't have a lot of followers, and I'm okay with that, but I really hope that the followers I do have are following so I can read their works or so that we can get closer and become friends. Thank you to anyone who sees this for reading and understanding. It's a dumb thing to be concerned about, I know, but I'm here to read and write and bond with other users over a shared love of both, and when there are so many fake people out there simply trying to grow their accounts without regards for anyone else's feelings, it can be very frustrating and difficult to accomplish what I wanted to achieve. I love this website, and I love the people on it, and I've had an amazing time getting to know people here - I just want it to stay like that if it can.
