Got COVID (yay)

          	Probably should have expected this lol. Went to Florida because we had tickets to Disney World (we went to Universal too because they're actually pretty close to each other.) Felt a little sick halfway through. Went home, took a COVID test. Whole family is positive ;-;

Luckily we're all fully vaccinated and have access to the medicine Paxlovid. We also have a very mild case. So all that's really happening is we're taking off two weeks from work/school instead of one XD

So you can probably expect the epilogue of my book (and maybe the first chapter of the sequel) out sometime this week.

If anyone has any questions about COVID, for me the symptoms are very mild. My sister has chills and a slight fever, and so does my dad. My mom has the opposite. I'm the only one out of bed right now because I need to make up my schoolwork and also because I don't really feel like being in bed right now- I don't have fever but my house is already warm enough, I don't need blankets too. I'll go to bed later lol

Stay safe out there everyone. Don't go to a pool or places you can't wear a mask (this is probably how we got COVID) and just be extra careful. My family is lucky so far. But you never know if you have an underlying health condition. People die or get severely affected by COVID. They're just learning about the long-term affects now. Be careful y'all

@Fox_Artist glad to hear they're all okay. And no, you didn't say it wrong, but thanks for clarifying anyway :)

@Viastar_Writes yeah, it was a while ago, and our Covid and the restrictions being lifted wasn't connected in any way, in case I said it wrong

You might know me because I commented on your book: The Only Rainwing in The War, and I would like to apologize. My comments on your book are easily perceived as rude, and I was apparently not thinking it through when I posted them.

Viastar_Writes

@Fox_Artist that's perfectly alright. It's hard to find tone in a world where facial expressions and body language don't exist, so it's not your fault. I actually thought your comment was helpful, and I don't need your apology because I don't think you did anything wrong, but thank you anyway :)

WATTPAD SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT

          IDENTIFYING VIRUS BOT ACCOUNTS

Currently Wattpad is under siege by a plague of virus bot accounts that seek to hijack your accounts.
They post virus links in comments sections that trick people into clicking them.

Second Round has identified a trend with these accounts and will tell you how to identify them.

          1. THEY USE A RANDOM FEMALE NAME ALL IN LOWERCASE LETTERS.

          2. AFTER THE NAME, THEY HAVE A RANDOM 5 NUMBER COMBINATION.

          3. THEY HAVE A CONSTANTLY CHANGING PROFILE PICTURE OF WOMEN IN SWIMSUITS.

Here is a list of some verified examples of these accounts so you know what a bot account's username may look like.

          katie83131
          susan25267
          connie32720
          diana64312

          STAY SAFE.

          SPREAD THE WORD.

DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS IN COMMENT SECTIONS.

DELETE THESE LINK COMMENTS FROM YOUR BOOKS.

          REPORT THE BOT ACCOUNTS.

@Fox_Artist I'm not entirely certain, since I'm pretty sure a lot of viruses are specific and different, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to be careful. I'm not 100% sure what the virus does, but in any way you should make sure your account is safe - perhaps change a password or something, and make backups for every book you don't want to lose in case they did hack you (copy your books onto a google doc or something.) Take screenshots of stuff you can't copy, and make sure your followers know someone may have hacked into your account so if anyone using your account says something rude or mean (this happened to one of my classmates) your followers know it wasn't really you.

@Viastar_Writes yes! These have been doing stuff on my account! I clicked a link, but it never had a chance to load, because I exited it. Does this mean my account might be hacked?
