A lot of people, once they meet me in real life, they'll look at me weirdly or stare. 
Why? I'm not sure but i think it's because i standout in a crowd. 
I was born in Mexico but my culture is menonite. Many of you have probably heard about menonites and how they're founded on religion. 
Well in the area where i live, that's exactly what it is. 
Religion. 
If you would come into my community, I'm pretty sure you would be surprised. 
Most people look at menonites like they're christians. They're not. 
Most of the today's generation of menonitas, drink, smoke, party. 
They dress differently than most people do. 
They never wear pants, they always dresses, the guys always have an overall on and so on. 
Why am i telling you this? 
Because i want you to know that being a menonite, does NOT mean they're christians. 

I want to be different though. So I am. 
I don't dress like them, which is a big reason for them staring at me, I don't drink or party, I'm myself around everyone because I'm proud of who I am. 
I am a proud christian. 
I am NOT a proud menonite. Why? Because people look at me like, "oh your a menonite so that makes you an automatic christian" 
No. 
Being a menonite, or being a christian, those are 2 VERY different things. 
I am a menonita because that's my culture. 
I am a christian because i accepted JESUS into my heart. 
Being part of a culture, is something you're born into. 
Being a christian, is a choice. A choice everyone has to make.
