Denys Ray Daniel

Denys Daniel is a bestselling author of smart, sassy, and steamy romance novels. She was born and raised in Kansas and has lived most of her life in a rural (but mostly loving) village as a unicorn among horses, until recently moving to an urban haven of coffee, nail salons, and more than three restaurants. 

Despite her prudish upbringing (or perhaps because of it), her passion for writing began before she learned to drive a car. She was an English major on her first trip through college and is currently earning her MFA in Creative Writing from SNHU.  As an INFJ introvert, she's worked as a medical transcriptionist and an online college instructor before becoming a writer, because none of them require you to leave home to earn a living.  She also makes a fabulous pot of chili and will tell you there is only one way to eat it correctly. 

Nowadays you'll find her hiding in the back of her favorite local indie bookstore writing steamy sex scenes.  When she's not reading or writing stories, she's probably cooking, watching Outlander, or playing Candy Crush.  She also loves chocolate cream pie.
