To anyone who may still be interested, I intend to take Lilium down and start over with a less ridiculous plot. However, until I have solidified this plot and written a few chapters, I will be keeping the original one up. I will warn you, though, that what I have in mind strays far away from what I have already posted. Sorry for everything!

@LeannaLucian No need to apologize...you write, and I'll be here reading. c:

@raindrop And I agree. I don't think happiness is achieved by big concepts, such as changing the world. I definitely had more to say, but then I started craving chicken soup and I forgot. Mm...chicken soup. Something about...maybe big dreams are like you said they are in relation to happiness. Achieving them isn't as great as they're made to sound. I mean, if you dedicate your life to a dream, and then you finally get it...It can be almost disconcerting. Suddenly you've got to find a new passion and a new way to mould your life.
So maybe happiness is in the little things. Maybe it's like a coy fish, swimming in a quick stream, and everyone is plunging their hands into the cold water. Their hands all brush past smooth scales, and their hands contract to grasp it, but they are too slow. In a moment, their eyes catch the glimmer of silver, and then they are running again, chasing.
So the small things are...Yes, I think people, among other things. Interacting with others has the power to build or destroy you. I know for a fact that without my friends my life would be much dimmer.
Ugh, happiness is an elusive thing. I just can't seem to wrap my fingers around it.
