I'm nearing 70.  My father was a writer (short stories, plays, screenplays) and I always wanted to be one myself.  I have a BA in American Studies and an MFA from Columbia in Fiction Writing, but my career plans were put on hold by MS in my early 30's.  I continued to write (slowly!) and gradually anti-fatigue and other treatments came along for MS.  I have two books self-published as Kindle e-books, and hope to put out a third of short stories.  All my e-book publications are priced at the lowest prices available, because I don't hope for money, but for readers!  Readers are the life-blood of writers.  It would be great to make some friends who are writers too.  I've lived a lot of my writing life in isolation.
