Meet the Literary Magazine Staff:

Hello! My name is Sean Corcoran, and I am a sophomore in high school. I've always had a fascination for writing, and it's one of the few true passions I can say I enjoy wholeheartedly. I greatly prefer writing works of fiction, usually choosing fantasy as my subject matter. I've been sick for over five years now, and writing has always been my preferred method of venting my stress, frustrations, and just difficult emotions. Putting your vulnerabilities out into the world for all to see and judge is difficult, but I wouldn't want to spend my time in any other way. A quote that has inspired me is, "I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." - Thomas Edison. Writing something you're proud of is a lot of trial and error, and perseverance is a must. This quote helps me to stick to a tricky piece of writing.
-Hello, I am Olivia Owen and I am a freshman at Tabb. My favorite genre is young adult realistic fiction. Writing has always been my escape from the realities of the world. I enjoy writing essays and occasionally poetry. I plan on going to college to major in English so I can get a career in some form of writing. Most of my free time is spent with my horse Amigo. My favorite quote comes from my favorite childhood author, Madeleine L' Engle. She states in her book A Wrinkle in Time, "Life, with its rules, its obligations, and freedoms, is like a sonnet: You're given the form, but you have to write the sonnet yourself."
-Hey, my name is Myles Ross. I am a senior at Tabb. I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music and playing basketball. I write, not because I'm amazing at it; I'm not. I write because for lack of a better word, it gives me a chance to play God. To allow for fantastic events to change ordinary people, or vice versa has always been a big draw for me. A favorite quote of mine concerning writing is: "The pen is an instrument of discovery rather than just a recording implement." - Billy Collins.
