Many years ago, in a grade school library, Todd Alan Ellington checked out a book about pirates. That story kindled a love of reading and yearning for adventure that lasted through high school, a tour of the Persian Gulf courtesy of the United States Army, and eventually drove him to pursue a journalism degree from the University of Nebraska. After graduating and discovering how little journalists are paid, Todd turned his attention to fiction-hoping to channel his love of books and lifetime of misadventures into a career. He calls Omaha, Nebraska home, but travels when he can, and binge-watches sci-fi shows when he can't.
