SwordmasterNicole

Hi Everybody,

I'm back after a LONG break. But I just wanted to announce that I'm back! Yay!

Anyway, I've been re-reading School of Elements and there's really a lot that makes me still excited about the book... I just need to reconstruct it from the ground up. Starting with the girls and their age. Alas, that is in the future though so look forward to that!

Anyway, I've been gone for TOO long and now I'm off to go catch up on all the reading that I've missed!

          XOXO
          Nicole

The Peculiar Map
          A Short Story
          by Nicole
Zara Ball looked at the peculiar map in her hands and felt relaxed.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her grey surroundings. She had always loved grand San Francisco with its naughty, nosy nooks. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel relaxed.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Forest Walker. Forest was an impatient patient with curvaceous hands and beautiful thighs.
Zara gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a selfish, popular, cocoa drinker with handsome hands and skinny thighs. Her friends saw her as a horrible, homely hero. Once, she had even helped a tight injured bird cross the road.
But not even a selfish person who had once helped a tight injured bird cross the road, was prepared for what Forest had in store today.
The sun shone like drinking foxes, making Zara surprised.
As Zara stepped outside and Forest came closer, she could see the sticky glint in his eye.
"I am here because I want a kiss," Forest bellowed, in a tight-fisted tone. He slammed his fist against Zara's chest, with the force of 213 bears. "I frigging love you, Zara Ball."
Zara looked back, even more surprised and still fingering the peculiar map. "Forest, I love you," she replied.
They looked at each other with stressed feelings, like two slimy, steep snakes laughing at a very predatory holiday, which had flute music playing in the background and two thoughtful uncles loving to the beat.
Zara regarded Forest's curvaceous hands and beautiful thighs. She held out her hand. "Let's not fight," she whispered, gently.
          "Hmph," pondered Forest.
"Please?" begged Zara with puppy dog eyes.
Forest looked ecstatic, his body blushing like a resonant, rabblesnatching record.
Then Forest came inside for a nice mug of cocoa.
          THE END
