Some say that all is fair in love and war. Some say that the point of war isn't to die for your nation, but to make the enemy on the other side die for his. Some say that war brings glory and pride.
In my few years I have learned, witnessed and endured...that there is no victor. Only those who are losers and those who are guilty.

A true soldier may feel that he lives to see the dawn of tomorrow...but he will soon realize that his enemy wasn't the only one to pay an ultimate price.

To take a soldiers life, to destroy a family's pride and hearts somewhere in the world.
What was once theirs, gone and never to come home safe and sound as he'd once promised. The lives of those in the crossfire, forever changed by the trauma of losing their homes, or their loved ones to stray fire.
All their money, belongings, theirs lives indirectly halted and put to and end so prematurely.
          	But no.
Money isn't the price of war.

It's the the guilt a man or woman must endure for taking the obligation, and the duty as a soldier, to stand up and fight for their nation.
Because others are afraid to, or just simply can't.
Only a soldier may understand a soldiers pain.
May understand their thoughts and may understand their feelings.

This is the true price of war.

So the only questions left to ask...

          	"Was it worth it?"
