--- 'THE SHADES OF BLOOD STORY' ---

Once upon a time there were two friends who decided to write a story together. The first thing they did was to make an account together, so they could both work on it, and they called it Its_An_Honour (because Wattpad doesn't like apostrophes in usernames). And the profile picture was a cow, because of some obscure in-joke nobody can remember anymore, let alone either of the friends.

And they thought about what they wanted to write.

At the time it was fashionable to write Hunger Games fanfictions, and one of the friends had written several before, so they decided they would write one of those. So they collected some of their friends, and (with their permission) they wrote them in as characters, and they wrote themselves in as well.

And they wrote and wrote and wrote.

This was the first Shades of Blood.

And this was the only story they wrote together. They had planned to write another, but circumstances intervened. One of the friends felt he could not stay, and he went, and he left the account in the charge of the other.

And she changed the name, and she changed the picture, but she kept the story because, for all its faults, people seemed to like it.

And she began to write some more.

This is now her secondary account. She has some fanfics on her original account, @The_Light_Hantastic , and the Shades of Blood series is on here, as well as a rewrite of one of her earlier fanfic attempts.
