Roots Tales

I write short stories dedicated to the horror and dark fantasy genre. 
My main inspiration comes from writers like Lovecraft, C.A.Smith and Poe, although modern movies that cover similar topics of dark fantasy, eerie themes and cosmic horror influence and inspire me just as much.

My two main settings are on one hand the original fictional world of Arranok - a continent in a grim, forsaken world that has suffered apocalyptic events. These stories are labelled "Arranok Stories" or "Wasteland Cycle". Our storyteller Roots takes us on a journey across this continent, finding the most odd stories and discovering the weirdest secrets of this enigmatic world after its downfall.
The other setting I frequently write in is the original fictional setting summed up as "The Sombertrove Stories" - looking at real as well as fictional places in our world, where it overlaps with the strange realms of "The Other Ones", not to be fully comprehended by the people experiencing a confrontation... These stories lean into the horror genre way more. 

Every now and then I might also publish a story that is not canonical part of either of these settings - but most of them are linked to one world or the other.
