I might be the most awesome person you meet! :P

I'm Rachael, Late 30s and from the United Kingdom. I'm a gay married woman who loves life. I like to think I'm a funny, caring character and I am a woman of many laughs. My imagination is wild, and I appreciate all the little and beautiful things in life.

I love anything, artistic, gaming, reading and movies. My main passion used to be just music. Lyrically I have written since I was about 10 and started singing when I was 13. I only ever did the singing here or there but when I lost my mum when I was 23, I put my heart and soul into music. I was in a rock band for 9 years but unfortunately slipped 2 discs in my back and one in my neck so everything stopped. Unfortunately July 2022 I started going down hill. I got a very rare major back condition called cauda equina. I had emergency surgery pretty much straight away, where they removed my disc and thankfully most the pain has gone its just the recovery. That was in October so still early days but I have to stay positive and grateful.

When I damaged my back, everything stopped, so I had to find something to keep my mind active. I started doing art and realized I'm quite decent, so I started my own small business. I mainly do digital art now. I have created some kid's characters, done stories for them and hope I can release them into the world soon.

Reading was a massive part of this. I started a Facebook group and joined other communities and really enjoyed everyone's views recommendations on books. I run an LGBT community on facebook with roughly 4k people, I just post books for people to look out for. Author Erin Wade asked if she could be a part of it and post on there quite a lot as well. If your interested its just called LGBT BOOKS.

For years I have read the FF books, however I will read anything anyone recommends, but I as you know a book may speak different words to me than it does to you.
