Hello,
I love reading, writing and creating interesting characters from scratch. I started writing as a hobby but when I wrote short stories and my friends loved it, I took the plunge into writing cozy murder mysteries.
I am inspired by Agatha Christie- the queen of mysteries. My other favourite authors are Rohinton Mistry, R.K. Narayan, Somerset Maughan and Daphne du Maurier. There are many others like John Steinbeck and the new rising author Alka Joshi.
I am a retired Special Education teacher and moved to Milton, Ontario after my husband passed away from cancer.
To ward off my loneliness I have started writing and spend hours on my balcony plotting out sinister characters and amateur sleuths.
I love English cottages, roses, lilacs, peach tarts and dogs and cats. There is more to the list but will add later.
I have just started writing romantic mysteries with a gothic touch. 
I do appreciate any helpful suggestions and reviews.
